Harvest 2025

Whether your an individual, family, business, school, church group or a youth club, your Harvest donations do really matter! You can find fun harvest activities below to engage with children of all ages.

Our Harvest Festival collection will run from Monday 22nd September until 24th October 2025. It would help us considerably if donations are dropped off at a pre-arranged date and time. Please pick a drop off slot in our Google Calendar below.

If you need us to collect the donations, please give us enough notice to find a volunteer to collect.

Thank you for all your support.

£5 budget

Here's why we want the community to get involved with the budget challenge

1. Life skills

Teachs practical life skills such as budgeting, planning ahead and making choices based on limited resources. Make learning fun and hands-on by using maths, reading and teamwork in a practical activity.

2. Healthy eating

Encouraging healthy eating by understanding nutrition, portion sizes and how to balance meals with fruit, veg, protein, and carbs within a set budget. Create family bonding opportunities and open discussions around money and health. The activity may encourage families to plan and cook together.

3. Problem solving

Foster creativity and problem-solving by working with a fixed £5 budget. This should encourage students to think outside the box, finding cheaper alternatives and using what’s already in the cupboard.

4. Social awareness

We hope to spark empathy and social awareness by having open discussions about the £5 budget, understand the challenges faced by families on tight budgets, fostering empathy and compassion.
