Give Help

Volunteer

To be able to carry out our vital service to the local community we are reliant on a team of great volunteers. We welcome all offers of help, but unfortunately we can only accept offers from people aged 18 or over

As well as deriving great personal satisfaction you will know that you are a member of a team of like-minded people who will welcome you and make sure you are happy.

There are various volunteering roles, including collecting donations from supermarkets, sorting donations, preparing food parcels, delivering food parcels and interacting with clients.

We don’t need any more volunteers at the moment, but please watch this space for our future needs

However, we have a small number of paid roles and we now have a vacancy for a part-time Engagement Manager to develop communication and engagement strategies to enhance our visibility within the wider community. The objective is to support our strategic aim to be a voice for local people living in poverty. The role will oversee our communications and be responsible for our engagement with external stakeholders. This includes members of the public, donors, schools, churches, funders and the Trussell Trust.

If you can spare 15 hours a week and have any skills that you think match our need then please download further details by clicking here
