About our foodbank

Thank you for visiting the Wokingham Foodbank's web page, we appreciate your support!

The Wokingham Foodbank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in our local area.

We are overseen by the Ministers meeting as Churches Together in Wokingham.  Our current chairman is Sam Sudlow.

We are staffed mainly by volunteers and rely on the generosity of the people of Wokingham and surrounding areas to donate sufficient food, supplies and cash to allow us to carry out this much needed service to our neighbours in need.

We run from two premises:

WATERFORD HOUSE is in the centre of Wokingham and is used for distributing food parcels.

Clients can collect food parcels from her by prior appointment through the pedestrian entrance in Denmark Street, through the walkway next to Zen Nails and Beauty.

There is limited parking at the end of Waterford Way for those collecting parcels, but a permit must be collected first from the office

FREDERICK HOUSE is on the Reading Road in Winnersh and is used as the warehouse and for delivery of donations.
